How do you organize your cellar?
Since my collection is organized in rows, my location system is Row (A–E) and top, middle, bottom (1–3). My wine is organized by Pinot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Blends, Syrahs, and International Wines.
Why do you love wine?
My parents were Beaujolais drinkers, and it piqued my interest in what they liked about that varietal. I then became enamored with learning more about wine in general. My first trip to Napa got me “all in” on enjoying wine.
How did you start collecting wine?
I built a basement cellar in 2002 that started my collecting wine. We’ve since moved and now have a collection that is front and center in our home!
What is your favorite region/variety?
We have been to Napa many times, and much of my collection is California. I find Cabernet Sauvignon to be complex and possess a depth that is difficult to compete with. Red Blends are also a favorite.
What is your favorite CellarTracker feature?
