I have 3 locations based on the room: Upper, Lower, Theater. For the bins, I have labeled each section/wall of the room alphabetically, then numbered the columns in each section. This allows me to find any wine quickly without needing to label every single slot, and it gives me the flexibility to reorganize bottles in each column without needing to update the database.

Why do you love wine?

Fell in love during a wine tasting in Tuscany, fascinated by how terroir and winemaking created distinct wines from the same grapes within a small region.

What is your favorite region/variety?

Bordeaux and Southern Rhône

What is your favorite CellarTracker feature?

Discovering how some of my bottles are drinking now via the new app's Activity feed. Being able to see recent tasting notes for wine in my cellar has been fun to open and enjoy wines I have not thought about opening.

Also, I track every single activity and am very detail oriented, the custom barcode printing really brought my cellar management to the next level and is a feature I use on a daily basis.

Can you introduce us to a wine from your cellar?

Variety & Region: Southern Rhone Blend

Why you love it: This is a classic, old-school Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The wines are powerful, fun to drink young, and age exceptionally well. I first visited Paul and Laurence Feraud back in 2003 and have been back a few times since. 1999 and 2004 have been some of the most special. They really shine in the so called "lesser" or "little" vintages.
